Privacy Policy

Private by design. Clear by policy.

This policy explains the current data practices of The Hebrew app and this informational website.

Effective August 28, 2026

Current app privacy summary

No account. No advertising. No analytics. No tracking. Reading position and preferences stay on the device.

1. Scope and provider

This Privacy Policy applies to The Hebrew, a free, offline Scripture study application provided for educational use by My Spirit Led Life, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation, and to this privacy and support website.

This policy describes the current release. It will be reviewed before adding an account system, synchronization, analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or another feature that changes data handling.

2. Information stored on your device

The app stores the reader's selected book, reading position, source-view, text-size, and reading-background choices on the device. This local information is used only to provide the app's reading, study, search, and airplane-mode functions.

The app does not require an account. The provider does not operate an app server that receives or stores this on-device information.

3. Data collection and tracking

The app does not include advertising, analytics, behavioral telemetry, tracking, attribution, or third-party crash-reporting services. The app does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for targeted advertising.

4. Copying and external links

The app acts only after the reader chooses to copy Scripture or open public support information. Copied text and any external service a reader chooses are handled by the device operating system. Those services' privacy policies apply to their handling of information.

5. Support requests

If a reader voluntarily emails support, the support mailbox receives the email address and content the reader chooses to send. That information is used only to respond to and resolve the request. Readers should not send passwords, recovery codes, payment-card information, government identification, or more personal information than is necessary to explain the issue.

A reader may request deletion of a support conversation by emailing theanti-pharisee@outlook.com from the address used for the request, subject to records that must be retained for security or legal obligations.

6. This website

This website contains no operator-controlled analytics, advertising, tracking pixel, newsletter, user account, payment system, or contact form. Clicking the email link opens the reader's chosen email service. Hosting providers may process ordinary request and security information to deliver and protect the site.

7. Removing local information

Uninstalling the app removes its locally stored information from the device. It does not remove copies the reader previously sent to another person or service. Because the app has no account or provider-run synchronization service, there is no server account or cloud copy for the provider to delete.

8. Children, changes, and contact

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The complete Scripture corpus includes historical descriptions of violence, weapons, death, sexual and mature themes, and other material that parents or guardians may wish to review.

Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Privacy questions may be sent to theanti-pharisee@outlook.com.
